FreeBSD(98) Ｘの設定
１，はじめに
インストールマシン
root でログインしてxf98configで xf98configを起動します。pc98用では ビジュアルなxf86configでの設定ができないようです。
以下に xf98configでの 問いと解答（設定値）を記載します。右側が 問いで 左側が設定値です。空欄は [ENTER]キーのみの入力です。
なお 環境の違いによって 当然ながら設定が変わります。 使っているモニターの水平垂直周波数 等は 取扱説明書を見ておくことと コンピュータの ビデオチップ等は Ｍｉｃｒｏｓｆｔ Ｗindowsなどの プロパテイで調べたりしておくのがよいです。

２，リンクの張り直し
/usr/X11R6/bin で コマンド
rm X
を行い 現状のＸのリンクを削除（または mv コマンドで backupを取ります）します。
ln -s XF98_NKVNEC X
を行ってリンクを張ります。
３，起動方法
startx
で デフォルトのTWMが起動します。
